A jaquel knight foundation grant

WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The JaQuel Knight Foundation Passion Project Grant was created to uplift and empower minority creatives to fund an upcoming passion project. The JKFPP provides funding for directors, choreographers, and creative companies with a forward-thinking project. JKFPP is meant to celebrate and encourage BIPOC creatives that are ready to break glass ceilings - in film, dance, photography, media and the arts.

$6,000

Grant

The grant will be awarded to (3) applicants that meet the requirements and complete all elements of the grant application in full. We are looking for ideas and concepts that will push the culture forward.

 

November 8, 2020 to December 8, 2020
 

HOW IT WORKS

Applications will be accepted until December 8, 2020. Grant winners will be announced by December 18, 2020.

(3) grantees will receive $6,000, and (1) creative review session with JaQuel Knight and with creative industry leaders.

To apply for grant, you will be required to submit (1) essay (max 500 words), 1 creative concept deck, (1) 2 min max video submission. Please read full app below and prep all files before beginning. App will take 30min with completed requirements.
